Small Business and Today's Economy

Small Business needs help to recover from one of the worst recessions in seven decades. The government is working on new ideas to boost growth and hiring as the economy rises out of this devastation.

Small business has been one of the foundations of our country. They have provided individuals with opportunity to run their own business and supply more jobs to Americans seeking work. It is what America is founded on. Due to the recent recession, our economy has suffered much loss.

The recession has brought about scarcity of jobs and closing of businesses around the country. Putting a plan into place will help individuals struggling to keep their business alive from closing their doors as well as creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs and citizens in need of work.

Currently, economic advisers are seeking to supply tax breaks for small businesses and a new structure for spending. In recent days, Obama said. “We should recommit ourselves to our time-honored values and to this fundamental truth: to heal our economy, we need more than a healthy stock market; we need bustling Main Streets and a growing, thriving middle class.” It is up to us to recover from the past and move forward into a more stable economic future. In order for small business to grow and prosper, both Americans and the government need to implement a plan of action for the future of our economy. Our country needs a thriving middle class as it recovers from one of the worst recessions in history. Steps are being taken by the government to encourage economic growth through spending, aid, and tax cuts for small businesses in America.

We need to take control of our situation and move forward to gain economic advantage. Businesses will continue to grow and prosper if these measures are put into place and carried out by both the government and private citizens of this country. Small business will continue to bring economic growth and provide jobs to those in need.
